The Champagne Cocktail
First made famous in the book “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, the Champagne Cocktail has been a staple at glitzy parties all around the world. Some could frown on you for using French Champagne for this and “wasting it” but a little trick here, just use a cheaper champagne or an alternative like Cava or California Champagne! Recipe
- Brut Champagne
- 1 sugar cube
- 2-3 dashes of Angostura bitters
- lemon twist
- Place the sugar cube in a chilled Champagne flute, dash your bitters over the cube and fill the glass with Champagne.
- Squeeze a lemon twist over the top and use to garnish.
