An all-you-can-eat festival is just what you need to kick off your Fall properly. The Taste of Texas Food Truck Festival, in Houston, is an event aimed at promoting culinary diversity. When it comes to meals and culinary skills, Houston is a very diverse town. Hence, this festival is targeted at displaying and promoting what Houston is known for: culinary diversity.

At this festival, you can enjoy assorted meals from all of the top-rated food trucks. There will also be musical performances by talented artists from within and outside of Houston. Want to get a taste of the real Houston lifestyle? Then this festival is the place to be! Join in on the fun November 16th from 12pm to 10pm.

Houston BBQ Throwdown

Nothing screams “Texas!” like a good old barbecue fest. The Houston BBQ Throwdown, on September 26th, is hosted by the Houston Barbecue Festival and Saint Arnold Brewing Co. This year, Houston will be celebrating the fifth year of the festival. There will also be up to 14 top-rated barbecue restaurants present, and competing for a grand prize. Note: tickets are limited, and can be purchased online. It is important to point out that there will be no ticket sales at the venue on the day of the event.

Oktoberfest Houston

Drink the finest beers and enjoy a taste of cultural diversity at Houston’s Oktoberfest. This festival is a fusion of German and Texan culture. The Oktoberfest Houston festival will have live entertainment like Polka music, and more beer than you can imagine. Oktoberfest Houston is on the 27th and 28th of September at the Buffalo Bayou Park.

5th Ward Unity Fall Festival (Survivors Series)

This festival is aimed at creating and generating awareness for lupus, cancer, and other disabilities. Join in on the march, enter to win prizes, listen to live music, and engage in a handful of other activities. There will be games, face painting and assorted delicacies from different food trucks. The 5th Ward Unity Fall Festival, on October 19th, is free and family-friendly.
