Commercial Honey Extracting

BeeWeaver Honey Farm is organizing a public event where you can learn the process of honey-making! You’ll see how the machines work, what the employees do, and how the honey is stored. You’ll also get to tour the hives. And of course, there will be a honey tasting at the end. Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity on Friday, July 26th from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Men’s Bowling

This is by far the biggest bowling event in Hempstead, Texas and totally worth attending! The men’s bowling event will be a competitive and fun experience. Head to Panther Lanes at 35725 Owen Rd. Prairie View, TX 77445 on July 26th at 5 pm.

Live Music at The Kenney Store

What is better than good food? Good food and good music. Stop by on Friday, July 26th for live music by a variety of musicians, and great food at The Kenney Store. Grills open at 3 pm, music starts at 8:30 pm. Grab your appetites and dancing shoes!

VSP: KPC Work Day at Indiangrass Prairie

KPC Work Day at the Katy Prairie Preserves is an opportunity to do some gardening and get dirty. Experience in gardening is not required, however, you should be able to easily kneel, sit on the ground, and do some light lifting. Closed-toed shoes, long pants, tall socks, long sleeve shirt, and a hat are required. Make sure to bring along gardening gloves! All other garden equipment will be provided at the venue. KPC Work Day takes place on Friday, July 26th from 9 am to 1 pm.

Hempstead, TX 2nd Annual Sporting Clay Event Fundraiser

If you have been looking for a humanitarian event to attend this July, this event is definitely for you. Out of concern for children in foster care and the abuse they face, the Waller County Child Welfare Board (WCCWB) organizes an Annual Sporting Clay Event Fundraiser. The event is on the 27th of July at the Westside Sporting Grounds at 8 am. The entry fee is $150 for a single shooter, $600 for a team of four, and $250 for a station sponsor.
