One especially versatile and delicious beer-based recipe is beer batter, which you can use to fry onion rings, fish, and even chicken. It’s delicious! Another great thing about beer batter is that it’s incredibly easy to make. You can also customize your beer batter based on the type of beer you like.
For an easy beer batter recipe, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup of flour, all purpose
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
- 1 ½ cups of beer
How To Make Beer Batter Recipe:
- Beat your egg before adding it to the mixture
- Take your flour, beaten egg, garlic powder, and black pepper into a large bowl
- Stir in the beer until smooth, you can add more beer if you need your batter to be smoother
And that’s it! Beer batter is super easy and it makes for some fantastic deep frying. Depending on the rest of your recipe, you can season your batter in many other ways.
