Moreover, there are even a handful of amazing nano and microbreweries to choose from. It was really challenging to choose just a few of our favorites.
Our criteria? They had to have a variety of tasty options, be highly rated, and have excellent customer service. Therefore, in no particular order, here are our five best breweries in Texas.
Rahr and Sons Brewery
You can find Rahr and Sons Brewing in Fort Worth. Founded in 2004, this brewery has a large selection of brews to choose from.

Jester King Brewery
Jester King Brewing is located in Southwest Austin.
Here they distill fermented wines, ales, ciders, and beers from homegrown yeasts, fruits, and grains. There’s also an amazing view of the Texas Hill Country from their taproom.

Peticolas Brewing Company
Located in Dallas, Peticolas Brewing Company was founded by lawyer Michael Peticolas in 2011.
With a unique story, rooted in beer brewing traditions he shared with his mother, Peticolas Brewing Company handles their beers and brews with professionalism and care. Moreover, they’ve received a handful of awards and recognition from the Great American Beer Festival.
Additionally, their products include a Velvet Hammer Imperial Red Ale, A Lost Epic, Thrilla in Brazilla, and Hey I Am Talking To You.
Lone Pint Brewery
The Lone Pint Brewery in Magnolia prides itself on its “grassroots brewing” techniques. In other words, this means that it uses raw whole cone hops.
Furthermore, their products include a Session Yellow Rose, Gentleman’s Relish, The Jabberwocky, Lily and Seamus, Tornado Shark, and El Dorado – all of which score highly in ratings and are thirst-quenching.
Karbach Brewery Co
Located in Houston and founded in 2011, Karbach Brewery Co uses German beer-making techniques.
Equally important, its products include varieties like a Blood Orange Radler, Hopadillo IPA, Cherry Limeade Rader, Day Maker, and Weisse Versa Wheat Beer. In addition to its delicious varieties of beer and great customer service, the brewery also hosts disc golf tournaments, live music, and more.
