What makes the world go round? Some people might say love, but I would – without a doubt – say that it’s food! Next time you’re in Trinity, TX, don’t miss out on the best food in town! There are tons of food options, and it can be difficult to make the right choice. We handpicked our top five restaurants in Trinity, TX to help make your decision a little easier:
A trip to Trinity, TX, wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the local Trinity Cafe. It’s family-friendly, and serves up some of the most delicious comfort food! You get food that’s like a real home-cooked meal, without having to do any of the cooking or cleaning! They’ve got delicious burgers, and desserts that you can take to-go!
El Rancho Viejo
Some have called this place ‘the best Mexican food in Trinity’. El Rancho Viejo has all your fixings of a classic Mexican place, and I’d definitely recommend going for the salsa as it’s particularly delicious. Plus, they serve up alcohol, such as margaritas and you can even top them off with little Coronitas. There is also karaoke night if you feel like getting up in front of everyone after one or two of those margaritas!
Spicy eggplant, mussel soup, pad thai, curry, and more! Whatever Thai food your heart desires, you’ll find a delicious plate of it at Thai Barn. If you are looking to get food fast, I would recommend either calling ahead or going to another place, as the service isn’t particularly speedy. Which I personally like! It allows you to slow down, appreciate the atmosphere, and also increase your appetite for the food you ordered!
At Joe’s Place, options abound! You can select dishes from their menu – such as pancakes, omelets, burgers, and steak – or you can help yourself to their daily all-you-can-eat buffet! With an endless buffet, you can have your favorite dishes, while also trying some things that are a little new. You don’t need to get a full plate of a new item, so that way you can try it to know if you like it, and if you don’t, it’s no big deal. Tea is also included with the buffet. Another great “down home” restaurant experience in Trinity, TX.
Taco’s by the Trax
This isn’t the fanciest place in town, but boy is it delicious! Taco’s by the Trax has great tacos – such as brisket tacos and breakfast tacos. Come with an empty stomach, as the burritos they give you are absolutely huge! It’s been known to get a bit busy around breakfast and lunch (because everyone loves those breakfast tacos), so call ahead if you can and then you should have the food ready in your hand in no time!
